I live in Pennsylvania and have been helping several families from aidpage as much as I can, we have four kids of our own so we cannot afford to pay otehr peoples bills but we have sent Christmas presents, food, bithday presents, personal hygeine items, etc...I just wanted to let you know of some of teh services for Pennsylvanias that arent commonly known in case someone out there needs them... 1. LIHEAP is a grant program that will buy you fuel oil/coal/pay a portion of your electric bill depending on what you use to heat your home..This program is about to expire for this year though so you need to contact your local assistance office immediately to apply... 2. Dollar Energy Fund is another grant program that will pay 400-500 of your electric bill as long as you have paid at least $150 towards your electri bill in the last 30 days... 3. Tableland services has a CAP program that will put a limit on how much you pay for your electric bill per month regardless of how much electric you actually used. For example, some people have a CAP payment of $75 which means even if they use $300 worth of electric in one month, they will only have to pay $75 and this is ongoing from month to month, not just a one time deal... i hope this is of some help to someone out there, I know how difficult it is to keep your head above water during the cold winter months when heating costs are so enormous...
